Model probabilities post as soon as the fixture is on the schedule; the market column fills when DraftKings opens a line.

NBA record
Grading starts with the first completed games. Every pick is scored the morning after and listed on the results page, hits and misses alike.
Updated 6:06 AM ET · Nov 2, 2026. Lines are DraftKings via ESPN at run time and move during the day. Market = implied probability with the bookmaker margin removed. Edge = model minus market in percentage points; under 3 is noise.
NBA predictions FAQ
How does the model predict NBA games?
Each team carries an Elo rating that moves after every game, with bigger moves for bigger margins. The rating gap plus home advantage gives a win probability; the same gap scaled to points gives the projected margin, and recent scoring rates give the projected total.
What does the edge column mean?
The difference between the model’s win probability and the market’s no-vig probability, in points. A blue chip means the model likes its own favourite more than the market; amber means it leans toward the other side. Anything under 3 points is noise.
Does the model account for injuries?
No. It uses scores and schedule only. When a star is out, the market usually knows before the ratings do, so a large edge against the market deserves a second look.
How are NBA picks graded?
The pick is the team with the higher model probability. It is scored the morning after the game, and the Brier score records how well calibrated the probability was. Everything is on the results page, misses included.
